Founder Ivan Karamatic remains closely involved as he moves towards retirement, while Kristian now leads as Principal Mortgage Broker, personally guiding clients from start to success with no handoff to juniors.

Ivica (known as Ivan) Karamatic – Founder.

Ivan is the founder of Lova Finance and has worked in the financial sector since 1988, including an 18-year tenure at NAB, where he progressed to the role of Regional Executive Private Banking before moving into mortgage broking. After several years in brokerage, he established Lova Finance with a strong belief in trust, personal service, and long-term client relationships. As Ivan moves towards retirement, he remains an important part of the business and a steady source of experience and guidance.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Wollongong, with majors in Economics and Management Studies, and has also completed a Certificate IV and Diploma in Financial Services.

Kristian Karamatic – Principal Mortgage Broker

Kristian is the Principal Mortgage Broker at Lova Finance and the person who now leads the client relationship from enquiry through to settlement. Since joining the business in 2020, and with prior experience as a home loan specialist at ING, Kristian has taken on the role of guiding clients personally through each stage of the process with consistent responsiveness, clear communication, and close attention to their individual situation.

As the next generation leading the business, Kristian works closely with each client from start to success. No handoff to juniors, no getting passed around, and no guesswork about who is handling your loan. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Wollongong, as well as a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.

Kristina Stojic – Office Manager

Kristina joined the company in September 2022 and plays an important role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. As the primary loan writer for Ivan and Kristian, she helps ensure applications are prepared accurately, paperwork is managed properly, and each loan progresses efficiently through the process.

As of 2025, Kristina is also a fully accredited mortgage broker and is proficient in personal asset finance. Her support strengthens the client experience, helping Lova Finance remain organised, responsive, and attentive at every stage.
